OUR DREAM TEAM
Alayjah Young
Public Health Student Intern
For some brief background on me, I grew up in upstate New York and attended undergraduate studies at Howard University where I earned a bachelor's of science in Nutritional Sciences.
While enrolled in the MPH program at Eastern Washington University, I aspire to be apart of organizations, such as Assuaged, that align with my vision to promote health-conscious lifestyles that encourage physical and mental welfare as a public health leader. Throughout the duration of this program, I aim to strengthen my skills of public health policy making, advocacy, program planning, and grant writing.
For fun, I enjoy taking nature walks, creating new recipes, and reading. My favorite foods are any type of gluten-free pasta dish and boba tea (if you consider that a food).
