Hello! My name is Jaime Persaud-Thomas, and I am currently an intern at Assuaged Foundation and a King Graduate School, Monroe College, Master of Public Health (MPH) graduate. My focus is in Epidemiology and Biostatistics.
My interest in public health stems from a desire to provide real solutions that enhance the health of the minority population, especially in urban areas. I truly believe that more should be done to improve this population's unique social challenges.
At the Assuaged Foundation, I can concentrate on vegan diets and meals, examining how they may contribute to general health improvement. I offer a distinct viewpoint in my research and writing. My public health interests include child obesity, chronic health problems, and their root causes in urban communities.
Through my work, I wish to inspire and educate people about the significance of public health and how our everyday decisions affect our well-being. I believe that education is the beacon of light guiding us toward better decisions. It empowers us to make choices that not only benefit us but also ripple positively throughout our communities.
Thank you for visiting my author page. I am excited to share my findings and ideas with you.
