Hello! My name is Jaime Persaud-Thomas, and I am currently an intern at Assuaged Foundation and a student at King Graduate School, Monroe College, pursuing a Master of Public Health (MPH) with a focus in Epidemiology and Biostatistics.
My interest in public health stems from a desire to provide real solutions that enhance the health in the minority population, especially in urban areas. I truly believe that more should be done to improve the unique social challenges that affect this population.
At Assuaged Foundation, I can concentrate on vegan diets and meals, examining how they may contribute to general health improvement. I offer a distinct viewpoint to my research and writing. My public health interests includes child obesity, chronic health problems and their root causes in urban communities.
Through my work, I wish to inspire and educate people about the significance of public health and how our everyday decisions affect our well-being. I believe that education is the beacon of light guiding us towards better decisions. It empowers us to make choices that not only benefits us but also ripples positively throughout our communities.
Thank you for visiting my author page. I am excited to share my findings and ideas with you.
