Public Health Informatics Intern
Maribel is a dedicated professional with bachelor's in criminal justice and public administration. She is currently pursuing her Public Health and Informatics certification to continue her current work in the prevention and harm reduction space. Maribel is currently working on addressing health disparities, access to care and substance use in the community.
At Assuaged Foundation, she is learning about grant writing, as well as data analytics to improve access to community grants. Maribel aims to bridge the gap of healthcare to her community.
Maribel aims to inspire and educate people about the importance of public health and the impact of daily decisions on well-being. Believing that education is the guiding light towards making better choices, Maribel strives to empower individuals and create positive ripples throughout communities.
