Hello! My name is Favour Ojugo. I am a Senior at Montclair State University majoring in Public Health with a concentration in Health Systems Administration Policy. As a dedicated public health student with a passion for healthcare management, I have spent much of my academic journey developing a strong foundation in the principles of public health while also cultivating leadership skills. Throughout my studies, I have taken on leadership roles in student organizations, where I mentored my peers, coordinated projects, and advocated for health-related initiatives. These experiences have not only honed my ability to collaborate with diverse teams but also deepened my commitment to making a meaningful impact on healthcare systems and policies.
I aim to apply my academic background, which includes courses in epidemiology, statistics, and social determinants of health, to real-world scenarios, while also refining my skills in data analysis, project management, and cross-cultural collaboration. Through this internship, I hope to not only contribute to ongoing projects but also absorb valuable insights and expertise that will support my long-term career goal of advancing public health practices and addressing disparities in healthcare access.
Through this remote internship, I aim to build on my leadership and mentoring experiences, expand my knowledge of healthcare management, and better understand how to lead initiatives that can address both local and global public health challenges. I am excited about the opportunity to learn, grow, and contribute to the advancement of effective healthcare practices.
