Hello! My name is Jay. I am originally from India. I have done my Diploma in Aviation,
Hospitality and Travel Management from India. I am pursuing my bachelor’s in information and Decision Sciences Concentration in Supply chain management.

My vast background as a Student Assistant, Commuter Assistant, Orientation leader, Database Assistant, and Customer Service Executive has taught me the importance of collecting copious amounts of data from multiple sources, handling everything with perfection, and delivering positive values. As a Student Assistant and Commuter Assistant I greet all welcoming students and answering to phone calls.

As an Orientation leader at UIC, I assist and guide many students in various ways. In my role as an assistant database assistant, I have gathered a range of
information from several sources to create summaries of reports that I have given to my
supervisor. The work atmosphere at an airport is quite fast-paced. Thus teamwork and
supervisor coordination are essential for efficient operations. I can remain composed under any circumstance.

My experience and strength will also make me a strong and positive team member. My
positive and clear communication skills help me to strengthen my efficiency and sense of
community.

In my role as a customer service representative, I had to communicate with
personnel at the boarding gate, baggage claim area, and ramp which helped me enhance my
team coordination skills.
