I am Joy Okafor and am a Public Health intern with Assuaged. I am a pharmacist from my country with several years of experience. I am a manager at Denco International in Maryland as I work towards my licensure. I have always been about making sure that people's lives are improved through healthy lifestyle changes. Public Health, to me, is an avenue to achieve my dreams of ensuring that human and environmental health are impacted positively. Finding out about Assuaged, I saw it as a foundational surface for a solid, firm landing in my future endeavors. I am hopeful that the few months with Assuaged will provide public health potential and technical knowledge.
