Greetings! My name is Kimberly Monahan. I am pursuing a degree in public health with a concentration in health education and wellness at the University of Tampa. I have also completed a minor in sociology. I was born and raised in Queens, New York City. My goal as a public health student is to better healthcare systems nationally and globally. I want to help increase access to quality healthcare for less unfortunate individuals. I'm passionate about the practice of preventive behaviors that will better one's health and decrease one’s chances of developing negative health outcomes. I have proficient knowledge in determinants of health, multiple behavior change theories, biostatistics, and global disparities in environmental health.
