Public Health Intern

Hello! From a young age, I knew I wanted to help others in any way I could. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor’s in Public Health at the University of Tampa as a student athlete for Cross-country and Track. After graduation, my short-term goal is to join the Peace Corps as a Public Health Educator, focusing on maternal health. The idea of family has always fascinated me!

I’m from Springboro, Ohio, where I had lived my whole life until I moved to Tampa for about four years. Recently, I have moved back to Ohio to be closer to family and finish out my internship credits. My parents are originally from Belgium and moved to the United States about 30 years ago, which allowed me to obtain dual citizenship in both the U.S. and Belgium. I am bilingual in English and French and plan to leverage this skill in my future career.

I am excited to intern with the Assuaged Foundation and advance my career in the public health field.
