Hello, my name is Phillip Nguyen, and I’m thrilled to be a public health intern at Assuaged Foundation, Inc. I was born in NYC in 2009 and have resided here my whole life. I’m currently attending the Collegiate Institute For Math & Science as a junior and will graduate by 2026.
I started this internship looking for important opportunities to advance my technological skills and follow my passion for cybersecurity. At Assuaged Foundation, Inc., I’ve been able to use various software and improve both my professionalism and organization. Here I can contribute to making positive changes in the world by helping individuals learn about themselves and what they plan to do with their future. Based on my real-world observations, I’ve noticed that many individuals undermine their health and take it for granted. Once they realize their health status, it's usually too late to make significant improvements. To prevent this neglect of one's health, I believe my blogs and teachings will create the awareness needed to take action while you can, improving the overall health of society. Although the data aspect of this internship was what I planned to do, the public health side enabled me to learn how to adjust to new software in a large-scale operation.
