My name is Pierce Walker, and I am currently pursing a degree in Criminal Justice Studies. I am a senior at the University of Arizona and am looking forward to this opportunity to intern at the Assuaged Foundation Inc. I am very interested in the business side of criminal justice and I am excited to also expand my knowledge in this area since I will be working closely with others who have similar interests or experience in fields that are very alike. 

With this internship I am aiming to learn more about non-profit work and how criminal justice plays a role in how they grow and succeed. I am also looking forward to working with fellow students on projects that will further our knowledge, and to learn from the amazing people that run this foundation. This internship will help me improve my communication skills and how I collaborate with others. Not only this but I will gain valuable experience and insight on work through a great and successful organization like the Assuaged Foundation!
