OUR DREAM TEAM
Siying Li
Public Health Data Analyst & Marketing
I was born and raised in Beijing, China, and moved to the stunning coastal city of San Diego, California, when I was in high school. San Diego's golden beaches and rugged mountains have shaped my love for outdoor adventures like hiking and snowboarding. My passion for these outdoor activities initially sparked my interest in environmental science, inspired by the region's beautiful landscapes.
Currently, I'm pursuing a double major in Public Health Policy Management and Psychology at the University of San Diego, California. My ultimate goal is to contribute to the fields of environmental science and sustainability, either as an environmental specialist or through research and policy work.
At Assuaged Foundation, my focus areas are designing and proposing policies, creating educational materials for disease prevention, and writing community health educational blogs. I'm particularly passionate about advocating for chronic disease education and prevention, as well as addressing food deserts to improve access to nutritious food in underserved communities. Through my voice, I hope to contribute to building healthier communities.
In my free time, you can often find me exploring new hiking trails around San Diego, experimenting with new baking recipes in the kitchen, or enjoying the diverse music scene that this city has to offer. If you have similar interests, please get connected with me and more than happy to answer any questions, or give any advice!
