Jaime Persaud-Thomas

Find me on:
Hi! I'm Jaime, originally from Trinidad and Tobago but now living in the U.S. My passion for preventative healthcare started with my son's diagnosis of 22q11.2 deletion, DiGeorge syndrome, and Truncus Arteriosus Type II. He's now 14 and has undergone multiple open-heart surgeries. Through these experiences, I've gained significant knowledge in cardiology, endocrinology, immunology, and gastroenterology. With over 19 years in public health and administrative coordination, I'm known for my organizational skills and clear communication. I hold an MPH in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from Monroe University. In my free time, I enjoy spending quality time with my husband, our teenage son and daughter, and our cat, Simba. For self-care, I love reading, adult coloring, tending to my plants, meditating, and working out at Hotworx.
